These are my favorite type of clouds...big and billowy. This batch of clouds formed over the Sandia Mountains to the south a few weeks ago.

Downhill from my house, there is a wide open field where the Sandia Pueblo Indians keep a herd of buffalo. This is a painting of the cloud formations over those fields earlier this week.

The Sandia mountains in Albuquerque are over 10,000 feet high. Sometimes the clouds cover the top, but this cloud just barely touched as it passed by.
